Very neat, at least from this perspective. I think the call to prayer, or at least getting "caught" in the middle of it, could be a little unnerving. I guess at least you have a built in alarm clock every morning.

I love the pictures. Your apartment seems to have drains in the floor of every room, which I found interesting. Kimberly thought it was only the rooms with water, which is probably is, but still it is interesting. I am sure there is a reason.

The Gulf looks amazing! I also noticed that the license plates were kinda adapted to the car they were on. Some long and skinny while others were more in the shape of American plates.

Sounds like you guys are getting comfortable over there, or at least starting too. Hope to hear more from you soon!

Just so you two know, I am usually totally against these sites, because they are stupid. However, seeing as how this is your only basic means of communication with me, I have sacrificed.

I kind of knew a little what the country looked like before you guys went over (Google Earth is cool as hell). You should take more scenery photos, not of the city. I know they are ridiculously rich, but I don't knwo what the countryside looks like. And yes, this is me asking a favor. I am interested.

School is fine...slightly easy compared to previous semesters. I am currently going to class for 11 hours a week and going to work for 19 hours per week.

I don't know what the etiquet is on this stuff...am I supposed to post messages like this, or do you guys still check email? Let me know.

Anyway, it is really nice to see the situation in which you are living. (Randy, you should thank me. I re-wrote that sentence to keep the preposition off of the end of the sentence...Southern Indiana habit.)

Have fun. I hope to be able to afford a trip over there next summer, maybe sooner. I don't know, but I am planning on going while you are in the UAE.

Nice 'hood', we love the blue water.
We would have to have a Ocean side view or the deal would be off! I am used to seeing or hearing Randy doing 'stupid' stuff but what about Christine donig stupid stuff?
